Productized AI agents and custom software for small-business owners. Brown County, Indiana.
LEGACY AI builds the software that runs a small business so the owner doesn't have to. Booking and lead capture, paperwork and payments, websites and SEO, content and customer service, security and books — shipped as productized agents the owner can read off a menu.
We don't sell consulting hours. We sell software that's already in production, already producing results, already earning its keep for businesses that look a lot like yours. The catalog is the menu. You pick what hurts. We handle the rest — financing, subscription, partnership, whatever fits.
Solo operator posture. Large-operation output. Brown County roots, remote reach.
Give owner-operators the software that big companies have and small companies can't afford to build. We're committed to:
The ground rules. Non-negotiable.
Everything in the catalog is in production for a real Indiana service business. No vaporware, no waiting lists, no "beta" excuses.
No consultant-speak. No fake urgency. No pitch deck. You tell us what's broken, we tell you if we can fix it, we get to work.
You see the software running against your real customers before money changes hands. No black boxes, no surprises, no lock-in.
Built for the person who runs the business, not the IT person they don't have. Every decision favors the owner's time and the owner's sanity.
Four lines of work. All shipping, all in production.
Forty-four specific solutions across six pillars — acquisition, operations, presence, marketing, security, decision-making. Configured to your shop in weeks, not months.
Open-source work and bespoke builds when the menu does not cover your specific annoying thing. If you can describe it, we can probably build it.
CLI agents and terminal tooling built on an evolving harness that has shipped real products. Strong isolation, deterministic behavior, execution contracts.
Five senior advisors who argue about your hardest calls before you make them. Subscription service, direct-linkable, ready when you bring the question.
Douglas Talley runs LEGACY AI out of Brown County, Indiana. He builds productized vertical agents for small-business owners and writes the software that runs underneath them.
“The most radical thing you can do is deliver exactly what you promised. Every owner I've ever worked with has been sold a pile of tools that half-worked and a contract that made quitting expensive. I don't do either of those.”
I started LEGACY AI because every small-business owner I talked to had been sold something that half-worked. A website from a guy who ghosted. A CRM that needed a full-time employee to maintain. Four different subscriptions they forgot they were paying for. Twelve tools that didn't talk to each other. Sundays spent catching up on paperwork. Missed calls that used to be jobs.
None of that was a software problem. It was a product problem. Nobody was shipping owners what they actually needed in a shape they could actually use. So I started building it that way — as a menu of specific solutions, priced for owner-operators, live before money changes hands.
Today the catalog has forty-four solutions across six pillars. All of them are in production. All of them came out of a real pain point an owner named out loud. When I sit down with a new one, I'm not writing a proposal or quoting hours — I'm listening for which tile on the menu fits their shop. That's what LEGACY AI exists to do.
Thirty minutes. No pitch. We figure out if one of the forty-four fits your business, and if so, we go build it.
